Kate Dubridge, with the Kent County Clerk’s Office, is recognized as the Kent County Quality Service Employee of the 3rd Quarter for helping to fulfill Kent County’s mission by providing quality service to citizens of Kent County.
The individuals who nominated Kate this quarter wrote:
The first nominator wrote, “Kate was invaluable in answering all my questions regarding my submission for an updated Concealed Pistol License that would allow for me to carry concealed in pistol free zones. She diligently answered all my questions regarding the new legislation that allowed for retired/former federal law enforcement officers the ability to carry in the pistol free zones. Additionally, she personally guided me through the application process to include what needed to be in the written request and which documents needed to be submitted for review. I believe her customer service far exceeded my expectations and her quick response to my questions and facilitation of my request deserve recognition. The bottom line is Kate provided exceptional customer service with a smile.”
The second nominator wrote, “Kate is extremely friendly and helpful. She provides very fast responses to questions and provides exceptional service. I have never received customer service this fantastic from any County Clerk office anywhere in the state.”
It is worth noting that this is the sixth nomination that Kate has received since the Kent County Quality Service Employee program began in 2010. Thank you for consistently providing quality services to the clients of the Kent County Clerk’s Office.
Number of Years Employed by Kent County: 5 years and 9 months.
The hardest thing I’ve ever done: My 4-year old Basset hound got lymphoma and having to make the decision to put him down was one of the most terrible decisions that I have had to make.
Three people (living or dead) I’d invite to dinner: My grandpa who passed away when I was 15 years old, Johnny Cash and my husband because he would also LOVE to meet both of those people.
You’d be surprised to learn that: I own two wonderful pit-bulls; Sergeant and Bruce.
The thing that I like most about working for Kent County is: Being able to make a government office a pleasant place to visit and also having co-workers that are actually friends (and willing to dress up with themed-Halloween costumes).
Please join us in congratulating Kate Dubridge for earning Kent County’s Employee Recognition for Quality Service Award.
If you know a Kent County employee who is deserving of this recognition, please complete a nomination form at www.accesskent.com/qualityservice or on the Kent County intranet.
"Abraham Lincoln once said: 'With public trust we can do anything. Without it we can do nothing.' It is in that light that I view public service -- especially at the local level -- as the most honorable of callings."
